The Versatile Blogger Award | 7 Facts About Me!

Hello again!

First of all, thanks to Adventures of a Shopaholic for tagging me! I hadn't heard of this tag but when I found out what it was I was so excited to do it!

Basically, this consists of me listing 7 random facts about me so you can get to know me a bit better. I absolutely love this idea because it makes this whole blogging world so much more personal! Let's get started, shall we?

1. I'm the most indecisive person in the world. I think about things too much and never know what's the right thing to do!

2. If I'm at home there is a 99% chance I will be in my pijamas or in a comfy tracksuit and with my hair thrown up in a messy bun. Not trying to impress anyone, right?

3. I'm really into watching youtube videos and beauty gurus. I would love to start my own youtube channel but I never have the courage to do it. Maybe someday!

4. My favorite piece of clothing is shoes.  Although some might say I have a slight obsession, I think they can change the look of a whole outfit!

5. I never used to be an emotional person when I saw a sad film or I heard an emotional song... But 2 years ago all of that changed and now I get so emotional with films and songs, but specilly songs! I have no idea why I had that change but I certainly don't see it as a bad thing!

6. I love to talk! I'm kind of an introvert sometimes but when I'm comfortable with someone I can ramble on and not even notice it!

7. I love to travel! And I hope I can travel a lot in my life and see different countries and cultures.

8. (A bonus fact!) My mum is english and my dad is spanish, so I'm a mixture of the two and can speak fluent English and Spanish.

That's it for my random facts! I had a great time thinking of them and putting them out there for you to know more about me!

Real Techniques Core Collection | Review

Hello everyone!

As I mentioned in a previous post (here) I have been wanting to get more of the Real Techniques brushes as I fell in love with the first one I tried out (Real Techniques Stippling Brush). I finally went ahead and bought not one, but a whole collection that contained four of the Real Techniques brushes. In this post I'm going to tell you how I use them and what I think of them.

This is the Real Techniques Core Collection. I've had my eye on this collection for a few months now and I finally got my hands on them!

Buffing Brush: This is the biggest one of all of them. I mainly use this one to powder my face and apply blush on the apples of my cheeks. I only wish it was a bit bigger because it does take more time to powder my whole face, but aside from that I think it gets the job done.

Contour brush: This is my favourite one of them all! I use this one to contour my face with bronzer and also to set my under-eye concealer. It's soft and fluffy so it feels great on the skin, and it also gives you a precise application of the product.

Pointed Foundation Brush: This is the brush I like the least because I feel like it's too stiff. I'm still trying it out to see if I end up liking it better, and I use it to blend my under-eye concealer.

Detailer Brush: This brush is great for areas where you need a bit of precision to apply a certain product. I use this one to apply eyeshadow in the crease and on the lower lash line.

What I really like about this brand is that the brushes are great quality yet still affordable. They are also synthetic bristles which are hand-cut and cruelty-free. I'm so glad I purchased these and have noticed quite a difference in my make-up application and apearance.

Until next time!
